Our Pledge to You!

1) Provide access to all kids that reside in Missouri City, Texas to the sport of lacrosse.

2) Provide a low cost fee for all kids, which will include equipment, fees, uniforms, fields and membership in US Lacrosse.

3) Provide opportunities in all neighborhoods using a combination of Missouri City Park facilities and neighborhood facilities to minimize travel for all participants.

4) Provide a system that allows progression for all kids to be a part of a High School Varsity sport at the five major High Schools in Missouri City, TX

5) Provide proper training for all coaches to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. The intent is to follow the US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model.

6) Provide training for older youth to serve as officials for younger participants, with the goal of a community feel from K-12.

7) Provide a program that any kid from any neighborhood can enter any age group and feel properly included, coached and accepted as a member, regardless of prior experience.

8) Provide a system in the age groups where teams are formed fairly to provide a competitive yet enjoyable experience for all participants, regardless of when they join the league.

9) Provide a program run and managed by Missouri City Parks and Recreation that provides financial oversight, superior resources through facility use and fund raising, and advertising and administration through the Parks and Recreation Division.



About MOCITYLAX

The Missouri City Lacrosse League (MCL) was formed to serve the residents of Missouri City, Texas and surrounding neighborhoods to introduce the children to the sport of Lacrosse. The goal is to have an organized lacrosse league among the major neighborhoods which support the five major high schools in Missouri City (Dulles, Elkins, Hightower, Marshall, and Ridge Point).
